Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions and preliminary terms

  • Platform / Site – the Billyou.ro website and the related web application, operated by Billu SRL.
  • User – any natural or legal person who creates an account on the Platform or accesses Billyou.ro services.
  • Client – The User who purchases a paid subscription.
  • Services – the SaaS billing and expense management modules, made available online.
  • Contract – this document, electronically accepted when creating the account, together with any policies it references.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use Billyou.ro services.

3. Description of Billyou.ro services

Billyou.ro provides, in Software-as-a-Service mode, two main modules:
  • Billing Module – generation, sending, and archiving invoices.
  • Expenses Module – recording and tracking company expenses.
Access to functionalities is made online, based on a subscription paid by card.

4. Registration process & user account

  • Account creation is done through the Kinde authentication solution; name and email address are collected for identification.
  • The Client must provide correct and current data; any modification will be updated immediately in the account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and for all actions performed through the account.

5. Sales contract / service provision

The contract is considered concluded at the moment of subscription payment confirmation. Billu SRL reserves the right to refuse or cancel the order in case of discrepancies or suspicions of fraud.

6. Prices, payments, and billing

  • Displayed prices include VAT and can be unilaterally modified; any modification applies only for future periods, with prior notice.
  • Payments are securely processed by Stripe; only cards indicated on the Site are accepted.
  • The fiscal invoice is issued electronically and available in the User account.

7. Delivery / execution / access to services

The service is provided exclusively online. After payment confirmation, access to subscription functionalities is activated instantly or within a maximum of 24 hours.

8. Right of withdrawal & return policy

According to art. 16 lit. m of Emergency Ordinance 34/2014, digital services are not subject to the right of withdrawal after full provision. However, Billu SRL grants a period of 14 calendar days from the first purchase in which you can request cancellation of the subscription and refund of the amounts paid (pro-rata for the unused period). 9. Warranties and limitation of liability

  • Services are provided "as is" without express or implied warranties regarding suitability for a particular purpose.
  • Billu SRL is not responsible for: (i) unavailability caused by third parties or force majeure, (ii) data loss generated by improper use of the service, (iii) indirect damages.
  • Total liability towards the Client is limited to the value of subscriptions paid in the last 12 months.

10. Intellectual property

The content, source code, and trademarks belong to Billu SRL and are protected by Romanian and international legislation. Reproduction, distribution, or modification without written agreement are prohibited.

11.2 Legal basis

contract execution (art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR), consent (for analytics), legal obligations (billing), and legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention).

11.3 Rights of data subjects

access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, complaint to ANSPDCP.

11.4 Cookies

The site uses essential and analytical cookies. For additional details, consult the Privacy and Cookies Policy.

12. Force majeure

Neither party is responsible for the non-execution of obligations caused by force majeure events, as defined by law, if it has notified the other party within 15 days.

13. Applicable law and dispute resolution

This Contract is governed by Romanian law. Disputes are resolved amicably, and in case of failure, by the competent courts in Timisoara.

Consumers can appeal to:

  • S.A.L. – alternative dispute resolution entities authorized by ANPC;
  • S.O.L. – EU Online Dispute Resolution Platform: https://ec.europa.eu/odr.

14. Modification of Terms

Billu SRL may update the Terms; changes will be announced in the platform with a minimum of 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes tacit acceptance.
