Billyou in ChatGPT.
Just ask.
Add Billyou as a ChatGPT connector, authorize one organization, and ask conversationally about invoices, payments, and reports. Billyou remains the source of truth; ChatGPT receives only the data needed for your answer.
Outstanding: 41,500 (23%)
Approved expenses: 38,200
Operating margin: 104,600
Conversational, but with accountant guardrails
ChatGPT only sees what you ask, only for the organization you authorized. Read-only at launch, action log, no back doors.
How it works
Four steps. Set it up once.
Add Billyou as a connector
From ChatGPT (on plans that support connectors), add Billyou. You're redirected to the authorization page. Setup happens once.
Authorize one organization
Sign in with your Billyou account. The connector requests access to the organization you choose, via OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. No global access.
Ask in plain English (or Romanian)
Ask ChatGPT for clients with overdue payments, this month's report, or details about a specific invoice. Answers use real Billyou data.
Verify at the source
ChatGPT can summarize or reformat in ways that introduce errors. For any number that goes into a report, audit, or filing, verify directly in the Billyou dashboard or in SPV.
What you can ask
Concrete prompts, real answers from your Billyou account.
Who are my clients with the most unpaid invoices?
ChatGPT calls the unpaid-invoices tool, groups by client, and returns the top list with total outstanding per client.
Generate a summary for April for my internal report.
ChatGPT pulls the income/expense report for April, formats it as report text, and proposes a layout you can paste in.
Find me the invoice for Acme Solutions from March.
ChatGPT calls the invoice-search tool with client and month filters and returns the invoice with serial, total, and SPV status.
What's my average days-to-payment for recurring clients?
ChatGPT lists invoices with payment dates, computes the gap from issue date, and returns the average per recurring client.
Export September's issued invoices for Saga.
ChatGPT calls the Saga export tool for September 1-30 and hands you the XML file, ready for your accountant. It covers issued invoices; expenses export from the app.

} How it's built
Same open standard as the Claude connector. Specific tools (list invoices, find client, SPV status), not raw database access. ChatGPT calls only what the prompt requires.
Each connection binds ChatGPT to a single Billyou organization at the moment of authorization. For a second company, authorize the connector again with that company's credentials.
How data is handled after it reaches ChatGPT, including training and retention, depends on your OpenAI plan (Free, Plus, Team, Enterprise, API) and your account settings. On API, Team, and Enterprise plans, OpenAI states that customer data is not used for training by default. Check OpenAI's official privacy policy for the exact terms.
We log every call internally: tool name, duration and outcome, with sensitive request data removed before storage. Records are kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically. Disconnecting does not delete them sooner.
